Steps to Ownership

Ownership

Ready to take the leap toward owning a Tumble-Topia franchise? We’ve outlined a simple six-step process to go from your initial inquiry to opening day. Our franchise development team will guide you through each of these steps, making the journey educational, transparent, and enjoyable. Here’s how to become a Tumble-Topia franchise owner:

Initial Inquiry – Let’s Connect

Reach out to us by filling out our franchise interest form or giving us a call. We’ll start by providing an overview of the opportunity and answering initial questions. This is where we learn a bit about you and your goals, and you learn about Tumble-Topia’s concept, available territories, and the basics of our franchise program. We’ll also send you a Franchise Information Kit to get started.

Franchise Introduction Call/Meeting

After your inquiry, we’ll schedule a one-on-one conversation (by phone or video). In this initial meeting, our Franchise Development Director will dive deeper into your background and interests, and give you a detailed overview of Tumble-Topia’s business model, support, and culture. We want to get to know each other – so feel free to ask any and all questions. By the end of this call, both parties will have a better sense of whether Tumble-Topia could be the right fit for you.

Review the FDD & Application

If we mutually decide to move forward, we’ll provide you with our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) – a comprehensive document outlining every detail of the franchise offering (fees, obligations, financial performance representations, etc.). We’ll give you ample time to review it carefully (at least 14 days, as required by law). During this period, we’ll also ask you to complete a franchise application and a financial questionnaire. Don’t worry – we’ll be available to walk you through the FDD and address any questions. This step is about you doing due diligence and us evaluating your qualifications.

Discovery Day – Meet the Team

We believe in transparency and finding the right fit. You’ll be invited to a Discovery Day, either at our headquarters or virtually. This is an exciting day where you meet the Tumble-Topia leadership team face-to-face. We’ll give you an in-depth look at our operations – you might tour our flagship indoor playground, see our play equipment in action, and get a feel for the day-to-day fun of the business. We’ll discuss everything from our company culture to our long-term vision for the brand. It’s also a chance for us to get to know you better. Come with questions! By the end of Discovery Day, both you and Tumble-Topia should have a clear sense that we’re a good match.

Franchise Approval & Agreement

Following Discovery Day, if both parties are ready to proceed, the next step is formal franchise approval. Our team will review your application and overall fit. Assuming all looks good, we will send you a Franchise Agreement for review. We’ll go over any final details or clarifications, and once you’re comfortable, it’s time to sign! Signing the franchise agreement is an exciting milestone – it means you are officially a Tumble-Topia franchise owner. At this signing, you’ll pay the initial franchise fee ($50,000) and lock in your territory rights. Congratulations and welcome aboard! We’ll introduce you to additional team members who will be part of your support going forward (like our real estate/site selection coordinator and training manager).

Training & Grand Opening Preparation

With the paperwork done, the real fun begins – building your Tumble-Topia business! Right after signing, we’ll schedule your initial training (see Training & Support above for details on our comprehensive training program). We’ll also start working with you on site selection immediately if you haven’t secured a location yet. Over the next several months, you’ll be busy completing training, finalizing a lease, designing and building out your center, and working closely with our support team on all pre-opening tasks. We’ll assist you in ordering play equipment, setting up your POS system, hiring and training your staff, and implementing a local marketing plan for your grand opening. This preparation phase typically takes a few months – on average, new franchisees open about 8–12 months after signing (depending on construction timelines). Before you know it, you’ll be cutting the ribbon at your very own Tumble-Topia indoor playground, welcoming excited families through your doors! Of course, our team will be right there with you during opening to ensure everything goes smoothly.

Once you’ve completed these steps, you’re not just a franchisee – you’re a Tumble-Topia owner and part of our family. You’ll continue to receive support and guidance as you grow your business. We believe the journey to ownership should be as enjoyable as running the business itself, so we strive to make each step informative and positive.
